Brittany is a Carroll County native who has gained her professional experience in an outpatient mental health clinic. Brittany may be described by others as passionate, motivating, and dedicated to her clients. As a clinician, Brittany strives to create an environment for her clients where they feel comfortable, accepted, and able to express themselves freely without judgment. Brittany believes that through a strong and genuine therapeutic relationship, a client can achieve anything they wish.
Brittany’s approach in the therapeutic relationship involves a combination of person-centered therapy, strengths-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques. She also has experience working with adults with substance use disorders.
Brittany enjoys working with adults of all ages, but specializes in working with teens and young adults to help them navigate any obstacles they may face in this transitional phase of life. In recognizing and understanding the impact of the family dynamic on an individual, Brittany incorporates family sessions as clinically necessary.
