https://briancain.com/certification While completing his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University in Psychology, he was also a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team. Brock continued his educational career earning his Clinical Professional Counseling master’s degree at Loyola University Maryland. He also spent a couple of summers playing professional lacrosse for the Atlanta Blaze. Brock has a true passion for sports and working with athletes. As a former athlete himself, he understands the pressure that goes into playing a sport. Much of his experience is with teenagers and young adults. He works with a range of issues including performance anxiety, life transitions, stress, confidence, and mental and physical well-being. Brock also has experience in career counseling, helping clients explore their career interests, building resume and cover letters, and practicing interviewing skills. As a counselor, Brock believes that building rapport is an essential part of the therapeutic process as well as determining treatment plans. He takes on a client-centered approach while also incorporating other techniques such as CBT and solution-focused therapy.
