Danielle is a graduate student at McDaniel College, currently training under the supervision of Elizabeth Higdon, LCSW-C.
Danielle earned her Bachelor’s degree from Towson University, where she double-majored in Business Administration (with a concentration in Leadership and Management) and Psychology. Danielle is on the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track at McDaniel and is expected to graduate in August 2026. She currently works as a graduate assistant in McDaniel’s Student Accessibility and Support Services (SASS) department, where she meets with students both one-on-one and in group settings. She helps students with organization, study skills, time management, and more. Through this work, Danielle has developed a strong passion for counseling, particularly as she supports students from a wide range of backgrounds and with diverse learning differences. Danielle recognizes that every person is unique—and so is their healing process. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, identify their strengths, and work through life’s challenges. Her goal is to build meaningful therapeutic relationships in which clients feel seen, heard, valued, and respected. She is especially interested in learning about various therapeutic modalities, including EMDR and sand tray therapy, and is eager to develop a flexible and individualized approach to treatment. Danielle believes that clients respond to different interventions in different ways, and she is committed to gaining the knowledge and tools needed to meet clients where they are. Outside of work, you can find Danielle at Starbucks enjoying a coffee, trying out new recipes, reading a good murder mystery, or spending time with her three cats—Butter, Popcorn, and Gremlin."
