Elizabeth is a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in nursing, education, and health & wellness. Serving as a military and diplomat wife for nearly two decades has instilled the heart of a fighter who is a tenacious advocate for those in her care especially those dealing with anxiety and depression.
In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Elizabeth graduated with a bachelor degree in nursing from Indiana University as well as a Master of Science from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Georgetown University where she graduated with honors. She holds certifications in nutrition, wellness training, and is a Certified Integrative Health Practitioner. Elizabeth was inducted into Sigma Theata Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Georgetown chapter where she remains an active member today. Additionally, she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), America Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Association (ANA), Endocrine Society for Practitioners and Maryland Nurses Association.
The combination of clinical experience, education, and certification in integrative medicine provides the kind of holistic approach grounded in scientific methods that Elizabeth finds to be critical for lasting patient solutions – holistic care that considers not only the physical aspects of a patient’s illness, but the emotional and spiritual aspects as well.
