Elli is a LCSW-C (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), who is often described by others as being warm, empathetic and genuine. Elli strives to create meaningful connections with each of her clients, as she believes the therapeutic relationship is key to foster growth and healing.
Elli has experience working as a therapist in an outpatient community mental health clinic and as a school-based therapist in Carroll County. Elli enjoys working with individuals of all ages. She specializes in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss and those navigating life changes.
Elli tailors techniques specifically to her clients needs, but primarily utilizes a person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). When working with children, she incorporates creative modalities such as art and play therapy into her sessions. Elli strives to help her clients develop a toolbox of strategies and skills so they can be set up for success moving forward.
Elli received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Services and her Master of Social Work from University of Maryland School of Social Work.
