Erica is a LMSW working under the supervision of Jessica Ryan, LCSW-C.
Erica has experience working with elementary-age children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She has experience working with youth and their families in the child welfare system, as well as doing crisis work in higher education. Erica has experience working with a wide variety of clients who are diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and personality disorders.
Erica believes that everyone is deserving of quality mental health treatment, no matter who you are or where you come from. Her goal is to create a safe space for clients to open up, and feel comfortable. Erica’s therapeutic approach is based primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy. Erica believes the rapport between client and therapist is vital to the success of the helping relationship and strives to get to know her clients.
Erica is a Maryland native who received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from the University of Baltimore, and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work with a concentration in clinical children and families. When Erica isn’t working, you can find her playing with her dog, Kash, binging a series on Netflix, or spending time with family and friends. Erica is currently working towards obtaining her clinical social work license.
