As a counselor, Kaleigh puts an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship to ensure a safe and comforting environment to heal and grow as an individual. She believes that we all have the ability to overcome barriers and obstacles that come our way throughout this journey. Each of us can grow and change through the very strengths we have within ourselves. Sometimes these strengths can be hard to access when we are going through a challenging time. Through working together, Kaleigh can help you access these resilient characteristics that lie beneath the surface. Kaleigh’s approach is eclectic, but informed by person-centered therapy, CBT, and mindfulness. She believes in working with you to see what form fits best and provide you with a personalized therapeutic experience.
Kaleigh’s clinical experience includes helping individuals who are experiencing life transitions, issues surrounding substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and perinatal and postpartum challenges. She is also passionate about helping individuals with eating disorders and disordered eating patterns. Kaleigh’s graduate program focus was helping men and women address their eating disorders in an outpatient and intensive outpatient setting. Kaleigh’s main goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, respectful, and validating space. Kaleigh received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hawaii Pacific University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University.
