Dijah is a licensed clinical professional counselor who has over 9 years of experience working in outpatient mental health clinics. Dijah is also a board-approved clinical supervisor. Working alongside her is Roscoe, her certified therapy dog.
Dijah believes that the relationship between a therapist and client is the key to the therapeutic process. Dijah strives to create a genuine, non-judgmental, person-centered atmosphere where her clients feel safe and comfortable.
Dijah’s experience has allowed her to work with clients of all ages, but she specializes in working with adolescent and adult clients.
Dijah has had extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Dijah’s therapeutic process utilizes a combination of client-centered therapy, strength-based therapy, CBT, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
Dijah earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from McDaniel College.
