Monique is an Art Therapist working under the supervision of Hannah Snyder, LCPC, LCPAT.

Monique (she/her/hers) obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Art from University of Maryland Global Campus. She is currently earning her Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Notre Dame of Maryland University with an expectation of graduating in August of 2024.

Monique is a second-year graduate student who has previous experience working with children and adolescents in public school and community settings. Monique has experience working with individuals who are experiencing grief and loss and she is eager to be able to gain more clinical experience during her internship at ACC.

Monique strives to create a safe therapeutic space for clients to explore various issues they may experience. Her goal is to provide a client centered atmosphere that is non judgemental and collaborative! Monique maintains her self care by spending time with friends, enjoying time in nature, exploring museums, and attending music festivals!
