Paul is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor working under the supervision of Susan Buczkowski, LCSW-C. With a counseling degree from Towson University, he spent over 20 years providing holistic advising and coaching to college students, including 7 years working with student veterans, before making the transition to becoming a therapist. He also has taught courses in psychology and human services. Paul provides a warm, calm, supportive presence for his clients, and has experience working with diverse populations, including people of various sexual orientations and gender identities, neurodivergent clients and parents of neurodivergent children. He has a passion for couples counseling, helping couples to understand and break free of negative cycles, improve communication, and rebuild emotional connection. Paul believes in a holistic, person-centered, collaborative approach to counseling. He brings a number of different modalities to working with his clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, parts work, and the Gottman Method.
