Rachel is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor working under the supervision of Allison McQuaid, LCPC.
As a counselor, Rachel strives to connect with her clients by creating a therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude. Rachel works with her clients to help them set achievable goals, improve communication skills, and identify their strengths.
Rachel has experience working with older adults and in forensic settings. During counseling sessions, she utilizes a variety of techniques, including CBT, existential therapy, and solution-focused therapy to help clients work through issues related to grief, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.
Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She graduated in 2017 from the George Washington University with a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and then went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University.
