Sam is a LGPC working under the supervision of Jennifer Valenta, LCSW-C.
Sam believes that each individual is the expert of their own life. She feels that therapy should be collaborative, nonjudgemental, and most importantly, client led. With experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, she also believes that therapy can be both fun and healing. Sam utilizes an eclectic approach, pulling from Interpersonal Process Theory, Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, DBT, and IPT to tailor treatment to each client’s unique experience. She has worked with individuals who have anxiety, depression, autism, and ADHD, as well as individuals going through difficult life transitions. Sam received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Stevenson University and her Masters in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland. During her free time, she likes to play soccer, read, and spend time outside. Email: [email protected] Phone: 443-261-0206 https://doxy.me/sambaysiclgpc |
