Timothy (he/him/his) is a LGPC under the supervision of Jennifer Valenta, LCSW-C.
Timothy has been gaining valuable experience in a wide range of settings. Recently, Timothy worked for a community mental health center that specializes in helping Native Americans in urban communities. This experience allowed Timothy to hone his passion for helping people who suffer from PTSD, depression, stress, anxiety, substance use, and grief. Timothy wants to help clients of all backgrounds, orientations, and beliefs; his experience in community mental health has taught him how important one’s culture is and the need to integrate it into treatment. Timothy wishes to continue to help the Native American community but also help adults, adolescents, and communities that experience trauma such as veterans and first responders. Timothy strives to create a supportive, warm, and safe environment where he can help others to be their authentic self and grow. He also emphasizes the need to look at the whole person, he believes treatment should focus on the body as well as the mind. Timothy obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Loyola University Maryland. He then continued his education at Loyola and obtained his Master of Science in clinical professional counseling. Timothy is an avid hiker and nature enthusiast and hopes to one day combine nature into therapy. Email: TimothyAydLGPC@gmail.com Phone: 443-372-8196 https://doxy.me/timothyaydlgpc |
