Victoria attended West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV for her bachelor of science in child development and family studies. A native of Maryland, she attended Johns Hopkins University to earn her master of science in counseling with a dual discipline in clinical mental health and school counseling.
Victoria is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and has completed extensive training to obtain certification in her specialties. She is a certified trauma and resilience practitioner – clinical (CTRP-C) and a certified dialectical behavior therapist (C-DBT). Victoria has experience working as a dialectical behavior therapist in an outpatient mental health clinic, as well as a school-based mental health therapist in Howard County. She has worked with individuals challenged with a variety of symptoms, life transitions, and other obstacles. Victoria provides an authentic therapeutic space throughout the client’s journey and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. As every client is unique, Victoria incorporates evidence-based interventions and techniques, while empowering the individual to strengthen their relationship with themselves. Victoria also encourages clients to engage in mindfulness exercises, yoga, journaling, and other practices to increase grounding, resilience, and enhance the client’s overall well-being.
