Susan is a LCSW-C and a Maryland State Approved Supervisor for Social Workers and Counselors. She comes with 25 years of experience with children, teens and families in both clinical and school-based settings.
Susan offers a high level of clinical expertise that includes working with clients with autism, mood disorders, attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder, anxiety and trauma. She employs an integrative approach, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, Social Thinking, mindfulness and play therapy.
Susan is committed to the belief that the client-therapist relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy and is tantamount to successful collaboration. Her authentic, strength-based approach is grounded in empowering individuals to make positive changes for the purpose of cultivating healthy relationships and achieving personal goals.
Susan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Buffalo and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Albany in New York.
