Elizabeth is a LCSW-C and a Certified Clinical Supervisor for the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners, and The Board of Professional Counselors and for Art Therapists. She is also the Director of Clinical Services for all of Anchor Counseling Centers. Elizabeth has experience working with individuals and families facing a variety of mental health and life challenges. She believes in the resilience and capacity for change in every person. Elizabeth creates an open and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment, utilizing a personalized, strengths-based approach for every client. Elizabeth incorporates a number of strategies from various practices and theories, including CBT, client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, attachment theory, trauma-informed care and psychoeducation. Elizabeth is trained in Perinatal Mood Disorders and enjoys helping women navigate the mental and emotional challenges of pregnancy, pregnancy loss, fertility challenges, and parenting. Additionally, Elizabeth is a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner skilled in working with foster and adoptive families. Elizabeth received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from UMBC and her Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work. Her primary areas of practice are anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, attachment, parenting and perinatal mental health.
