Bryn is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) working under the supervision of Elizabeth Higdon, LCSW-C.
Bryn believes that therapy can be an integral part of well-being. It begins with the process of building trust to address factors that threaten your mental, emotional, and physical health. Bryn will work together with you to resolve problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, and/or relationship issues. He uses an eclectic approach that draws from existential, multicultural, and person-centered theories. As a counselor he has worked with neurodivergent children and their parents, teen and adult clients with anxiety, and non-binary folks. He is identity-affirming, kink-knowledgeable, and non-monogamy-friendly. He has experience with queer identities, as well as anxiety, depression, and other concerns. Bryn completed a Master’s degree in Counseling at McDaniel College and has over 20 years of experience in higher education as a teacher, mentor, coach, and advisor. He is currently a member of the Department of History & Art History at McDaniel College. He has a BA in History from Bowdoin College and a PhD in American History from Brandeis University.
