Natalie is a LMSW working under the supervision of Elizabeth Higdon, LCSW-C.
Natalie is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate and cope with various challenges and circumstances in life. She provides an open, non-judgmental space that encourages self-awareness, growth, and resilience. Natalie uses a person-centered approach to counseling, as she understands how each individual is unique and on their own path. She utilizes a variety of theoretical approaches and techniques that include CBT, mindfulness, attachment theory, psychoeducation, existential psychotherapy, and family systems theory. Natalie received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Towson University. She then received her Master of Social Work degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work with a specialization in Clinical Behavioral Health. Natalie also has a background in Early Childhood Education from her high school program which provides additional understanding of child development and the role that the learning environment has on social and emotional well-being. Natalie has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families on a variety of issues including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, suicidality, self-esteem, and anger issues.
