Janelle is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) working under the supervision of Jennifer Valenta, LCSW-C.

Janelle has clinical experience working with elementary age children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She has worked with ex-offenders with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and adolescents in special education setting with behavioral and learning disabilities. Janelle has provided individual and group therapy to ensure her clients meet their goals. 

​Janelle has experience working with a wide variety of clients who are diagnosed with anxiety, depression, substance use, and ADHD. Janelle is a compassionate, non-judgmental therapist and meets her clients where they are. Janelle focuses on building a trusting relationship with her clients and encourages them to work towards their goals.

Janelle is a Maryland Native and received her Bachelor of Science in Family Science from the University of Maryland College Park and her Masters of Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work with a concentration in Behavioral Health.
