As a therapist, Caitlin provides a calm and welcoming environment for her clients to explore how to achieve a more fulfilling life by examining what has been keeping them stuck in patterns of depression, anxiety, and interpersonal challenges.
By using a genuine and non-judgmental approach, Caitlin is able to meet clients where they are at in their journey toward mental well-being by utilizing cognitive behavioral and person-centered techniques as well as humor where appropriate. Caitlin obtained a B.S. in Psychology from Towson University and a M.S. from Johns Hopkins University. She has over 5 years of experience in the counseling field and is skilled in working with adolescents and adults struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, life transitions, disordered eating, low self-esteem, and body image concerns. Caitlin has previously worked in a variety of therapeutic settings including community mental health, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential treatment programs. She is eager to return to outpatient care to help her clients strive toward long-lasting wellness and living lives consistent with their values.
