Danielle (she/her/hers) is a LGPC working under the supervision of Kristen Custer, LCPC.
Danielle has focused her work within a private practice setting with adolescents & adults. Danielle is passionate about a variety of clinical areas including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, family of origin issues, adjustment challenges, depression, identity development with LBGTQ+ individuals, and college student development. Danielle places an emphasis on providing a safe and welcoming environment for clients of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, spiritual beliefs, and other diverse groups. Danielle incorporates an integrative approach that cultivates gentleness, acceptance, and compassion towards ourselves and others. Her style is sincere, authentic, and direct when needed, placing an emphasis on the importance of self-awareness and how one’s thoughts can impact feelings and behaviors. She views her role in the therapeutic process less as the “expert” in the room and more as a collaborator helping her clients move towards insight, authenticity, and lasting change. Danielle graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Political Science. She then went on to further her education and passion by earning her Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. When she’s not seeing clients, you can find her hanging out with friends, listening to true crime podcasts, painting, or having a dance party to SZA & Sabrina Carpenter.
