Cyndi is known for her empathy and compassion and provides a safe, calming, and non-judgmental space that assists clients in feeling at ease as they embark on their path of self-exploration. Cyndi provides holistic, client-centered, strengths-based therapy that promotes growth, balance, self-empowerment, and enhanced well-being.
From Maryland, Cyndi earned her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Frostburg State University. She has been working as a mental health therapist and addictions/recovery counselor for 17 years and is trained in a variety of treatment modalities including trauma-informed therapy, polyvagal-informed therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing (MI), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), energy psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), and emotional freedom technique (EFT/tapping). She is also trained in LGBTQIA2S+ competency. Cyndi has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and provides individual, couples, and family therapy. She works with a variety of problem areas including, but not limited to, trauma, grief, addiction, relapse prevention, life transitions, health issues, emotion dysregulation, relationships, communication, anger management, self-concepts, existential issues, safety, anxiety, and depression. Cyndi meets clients where they are and assists them in identifying and working toward individualized therapy/life goals consistent with their personal values. Therapy with Cyndi encourages growing self-awareness and increasing the ability to find and hear one’s own innate inner wisdom.
