Alyssa is an LGPAT working under the supervision of Hannah Snyder, LCPC.

Alyssa received her Bachelor of the Arts in both art and psychology at the University of Maryland and her Master of the Arts in Art therapy from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Alyssa is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults and has experience working with these populations. Art therapy is a profession that uses art making and the creative process in the therapeutic setting to address mental health needs.

Alyssa utilizes the creative process to support mindfulness, emotion regulation, and self expression. Alyssa works to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for individuals to engage in self-exploration and focus on strengths and empowerment. Her clinical focus allows individuals to increase self compassion and find balance in their lives.
