Hannah is a native to Sykesville, but attended the University of Delaware for her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Visual Communications. Hannah furthered her education by earning her Master’s of Arts in Art Therapy at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. In addition to her art therapy degree, Hannah has specialized training in Trauma Work, Sand Therapy, and School-based Art Therapy.

As an art therapist, Hannah is a part of a unique cohort of mental health therapists. Art therapy is an integrative mental health and human services profession that enriches the experience of life through active art-making in therapy. Hannah specializes in using the creative process to address various mental health needs, substance abuse disorder, complex trauma disorders, and with individuals on the Autism Spectrum experienced by teens and adults. Hannah also runs a high school group in the spring and fall to facilitate social and emotional wellbeing and growth.

Hannah believes that an individual’s cultural experiences shape one’s life experience. Providing a safe, non-judgmental space for therapy and creative intervention allows each client a unique opportunity to learn more about themselves and their needs.
