Jessica Ryan, LCSW-C is licensed in Maryland and West Virginia and provides telehealth services. She is a Maryland State Approved Supervisor for Social Workers, Counselors and Art Therapists. Jessica is also the Clinical Director for the Telehealth and Cumberland Counselors at Anchor Counseling Centers.

A native of Maryland, she earned her Bachelor's degree from Frostburg State University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies. Jessica received her Master's degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, with a clinical concentration on families and children.

Jessica has a wide range of experience working with both adults and children in various settings, including working with adults with severe mental illness at a psychiatric day program, and manning a crisis support line, responding to both adults and children experiencing mental health crises. Additionally, Jessica has worked with preschool-age children who faced family homelessness or whose parents were in drug/alcohol recovery. She has worked with elementary and adolescent age students in a special educational, non-public setting. Jessica offers a high level of clinical expertise that includes working with clients with autism, mood disorders, attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, and trauma. 

Jessica aims to provide a comforting, open environment for her clients. She uses a client-centered, strength-based approach, utilizing elements of cognitive behavioral therapy to meet their needs. Jessica works to build strong therapeutic relationships to assist her clients in progressing toward their therapy goals.
