Jennifer is an LCSW-C and the Clinical Director in the Columbia office. She is an Clinical Supervisor in the State of Maryland for both The Board of Social Work Examiners and for The Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.
Jennifer works with children, adolescents, and adults with mild to severe mental health diagnoses. Jennifer understands the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship and offers a non-judgmental and supportive environment to individuals struggling with transitional stressors and/or those who are in need of a long term supportive atmosphere.
Jennifer believes in a holistic health approach, focusing on balance and stability of the mind and body. Jennifer provides client education and insight in order to guide lifestyle changes that promote wellness and self empowerment.
Jennifer’s primary areas of practice include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, women’s issues, and medical complexities.
Jennifer has worked with individuals diagnosed with medical conditions such as pre-natal drug exposure, seizure disorders, chronic migraines, cerebral palsy, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), chronic fatigue, HIV/AIDs, diabetes, crohns disease, graves disease, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and chronic pain.
Jennifer also has several years of experience working with children placed in foster care, foster families, adoptive families, and birth families. As well as experience in school based settings providing special education and related services to children with autism, developmental delays, and severe behavioral problems.
Jennifer is in the office on Monday through Thursday.
